Organic Deodorant

Let's talk deodorant. If you have been a "member" of the organic world for some time now, then I'm sure you are privy to the harmful effects of aluminum in anti-perspirant. This nasty metal has been linked to breast cancer and lymphoma in women. Considering the area of application and the frequency, this doesn't really come as a surprise to me. The purpose of an anti-perspirant is exactly that: to prevent you from perspiring. So what that means is that harmful toxins in your body normally eliminated via sweat no longer get eliminated. So the toxins stay in your body. Not a great thought.
